Columbus, OH – February 4, 2026 | Palmer-Donavin is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of its sales team with the announcement of the 2025 Sales Representative of the Year award recipients. Despite navigating a year marked by challenging market conditions, the sales team rose to the occasion with dedication, adaptability, and strong results across all divisions.

“These awards represent more than just numbers, they reflect the relationships our reps build, the resilience they show in tough conditions, and the trust they earn with customers every day,” said Matt Kaufman, Vice President of Sales. “Each of this year’s recipients truly embodies what it means to represent Palmer-Donavin in the field.”

The 2025 award recipients exemplify the commitment, resilience, and excellence that continue to drive Palmer-Donavin forward.

Building Materials Representative of the Year – Midwest

Kerry Gibbs

Kerry has been with Palmer-Donavin for more than 11 years and is a multiple-time recipient of this award. Year after year, his territory continues to grow despite evolving market challenges. His consistent drive for growth and market share, paired with strong customer relationships, makes him a standout member of the sales team.

“Kerry sets the standard for consistency and professionalism,” Kaufman said. “He’s deeply trusted by his customers and always finds a way to grow his business, even in difficult market conditions.”

Building Materials Representative of the Year – Southeast

Tommy Grubaugh

Tommy joined the Palmer-Donavin sales team in 2024 and made an immediate impact. He faced significant challenges early on, including a building relocation and the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Despite these obstacles, Tommy successfully grew his territory by promoting both existing and new products.

“Tommy stepped into one of the toughest situations imaginable and never lost focus,” Kaufman said. “His resilience and positive attitude made a real difference for both his customers and our team in the Southeast.”

Door Division Representative of the Year

Nick Smith

Nick is a back-to-back winner of this award and the first in the Door Division to achieve this distinction. He continues to drive growth in a very mature territory through multiple channels, including new construction and multifamily housing.

“Nick has an exceptional understanding of his markets and customers,” Kaufman said. “Winning this award two years in a row is no accident, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him going for a three-peat in 2026.”

Specialist of the Year

Bryon Vetter

As one of the Palmer-Donavin Cabinet Specialists, Bryon supports Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. He has demonstrated exceptional collaboration with full-line representatives while successfully growing his assigned accounts.

“Bryon plays a critical role behind the scenes and in front of customers,” Kaufman said. “His expertise and teamwork make him an invaluable asset to our sales organization.”

Rising Star Award – Building Materials – Midwest

Dom Peck

This marks Dom’s second full year in the field following graduation from the Sales Development Program. He works closely with his Door Division counterpart to build strong relationships and deliver effective solutions for customers. His ability to drive growth in his territory highlights both his early accomplishments and long-term potential.

“Dom is a great example of how quickly new talent can make an impact when paired with the right mindset and work ethic,” Kaufman said. “He’s just getting started.”

Rising Star Award – Building Materials – Southeast

Austin Williams

Austin has been in the field with Palmer-Donavin for three years and is also a graduate of the Sales Development Program. He has excelled at building relationships and gaining market share in a territory that was new to Palmer-Donavin.

“Austin took on a territory with no established footprint and built it from the ground up,” Kaufman said. “What he’s accomplished so far is impressive, and his future here is extremely bright.”

Rising Star Award – Door Division

Brandon Gifford

Brandon is in his second full year in the field after graduating from the Sales Development Program. He continues to drive growth through strong partnerships, customer-focused solutions, and consistent engagement through training and events.

“Brandon brings a level of energy and consistency that customers truly respond to,” Kaufman said. “He’s building something special in his territory.”
