Columbus, Ohio, February 1, 2021 | We are proud to announce and release two digital resources that are now available to our dealer network. Our team developed new ways to interact with manufacturers and dealers during a critical time of year traditionally dedicated to training and education. In lieu of gathering in person, we built both a virtual tour and a digital event where dealers can effectively engage in training and learning opportunities.

On January 4, 2021, we launched our Exterior Door Experience Tour where guests are invited to get a closer look at how custom exterior doors are handcrafted at Palmer-Donavin. The tour is made up of seven steps that feature videos showcasing the level of detail and craftsmanship given to each door unit. Along the way, viewers can download relevant resources and ask questions through a live chat feature. The tour is complete with a short quiz and opportunities to win great prizes.

Josh Thompson, Vice President of Marketing at Palmer-Donavin, shared, “The Exterior Door Experience Tour was our opportunity to bring people into our door fabrication facilities at a time when we aren’t offering in-person tours. With video production, we were able to capture closeup shots and angles of machinery and fabrication that one may not have seen otherwise, making our digital tour a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about how a door is made.”

The Palmer-Donavin Virtual Training Event will go live on February 1, 2021, and will feature 60 manufacturer booths, over 20 exclusive training sessions, and $5,000 in prizes.

Matt Butzier, COO at Palmer-Donavin, commented, “Normally we would be hosting dealers at our annual show this time of year. Having the ability to invite dealers to digital resources that create value and interaction with our team has been beneficial to all.”

Rob Spies, Area Market Manager at Lomanco, shared, “Palmer-Donavin’s Virtual Training Event offers us a chance to show thousands of professional dealers how to get the project right. Using the Lomanco Smokehouse we can show the seven ways a system can fail, but more importantly, how to build a system that will work best for the contractor and the homeowner.”

Robyn Pollina, CEO at Palmer-Donavin, said, “The previous year has taught us that we must remain agile and create innovative solutions to help our dealers in their businesses. Developing digital platforms for dealers to interact with our team and learn more about our products and processes is invaluable as we continue on our mission to deliver more to dealers and help them succeed.”
